Das Self-Unrack: Setup-Tipps für eine stärkere Bank
Viele Leute schauen mich komisch an, wenn sie mich beim Self-Unracking sehen, besonders mit Maximalgewichten. Lassen Sie mich mit den Worten beginnen: Wenn Sie haben einen tollen Spotter, der für Sie abhebt, dann tun Sie das auf jeden Fall. Aber schlechte Übergaben kommen ziemlich häufig vor, und wenn Sie eine schlechte Übergabe bekommen haben, wissen Sie, wie schwer es ist, sich davon zu erholen. Nachdem mir dieses Problem aufgefallen war, hatte ich die beste Erfahrung bei den USAPL Nationals 2016. Ich hatte einen Spotter namens Eric Curry und seine Abhebetechnik war buchstäblich die beste, die ich je gesehen oder erlebt hatte. Sie war so bemerkenswert, dass ich mir im Scherz sagte, ich würde nie wieder jemanden für mich abheben lassen, außer ihn. Bald darauf begann ich aus reiner Neugier, Selbstübergaben zu üben.
