Oft bekomme ich Fragen zu Teilen meines Trainings, die im Protokoll erscheinen, und oft beantworte ich diese Fragen nicht. Was Sie vielleicht überrascht, ist, dass ich Ihnen tatsächlich einen Gefallen tue, indem ich nicht Antworten. Es liegt in der Natur des Menschen, sich über neue Dinge zu freuen, wie neue Spielzeuge oder Ideen. Das „Shiny Object Syndrome“ steckt in jedem von uns in unterschiedlichem Ausmaß. Als Mensch ist es wichtig, dies zu erkennen, insbesondere, wenn Sie in Ihrem Bereich Einfluss irgendeiner Art haben. Verdammt, ich würde behaupten, im heutigen Zeitalter der sozialen Medien alle müssen sich dessen bewusst sein. Überlegen Sie mal: Wenn jeder ein Jahr hätte warten müssen, bevor er posten könnte, wie toll sein Bulletproof-Kaffee ist, würde er es dann immer noch posten? Inzwischen haben wir gesehen, dass der Reiz des Neuen verflogen ist und die meisten tun es nicht mehr. Meine Entscheidung, meine Meinungsäußerung absichtlich hinauszuzögern, was ich die 6-Monats-Regel nenne, hält mich davon ab, Modeerscheinungen zu unterstützen, die vielleicht nicht von Dauer sind, wie etwa den Bulletproof-Kaffee-Trend.
